IT'S NOT "MORNING IN AMERICA" (from the famous Reagan campaign ad); IT'S "MOURNING FOR AMERICA" ---AFTER THOSE PRESIDENTIAL (and Senate) ELECTION RESULTS.

I'm seriously thinking about what to do now … or next… or if I even want to do "anything" with Obama in control, and with no one to "answer to" for the next four years. In another 4 years of his "reign" (and I use that word advisedly) you will find that you will be living in a very different country (especially after he names the next two liberals to the Supreme Court. After I sleep on the election outcome a couple of more nights, I'll tell you what I think in more detail. Then we'll figure things out together, starting from there. Right now, a period of mourning for a great nation is in order!

WHAT HAPPENED IN OHIO MANY HAVE ASKED (or in FL)? THE SAME THING AS IN A LOT OF OTHER STATES: MINORITIES, UNIONS, LIBERALS and THE (large and growing) DEPENDENT UNDERCLASS GOT THEIR WAY!
More than half of the voters in OH (and the country) apparently prefer a phony, media darling, celebrity president who borrows money to hand out to them, and makes speeches, but doesn't know much of anything about how to run a country--instead of a bright, experienced man of principle--in a narrow loss, but one based on principles permeate so much of America now.

I KNOW A FEW THINGS FOR SURE:
1. Our elected officials in the House, especially GOP members & Speaker John Boehner will need more "support" (and intestinal fortitude) than ever, as Barack Obama circumvents Congress at every opportunity
2. We are fortunate to have 30 Governors, who know how to run their states, still in office--if we can keep them in place--and increase their numbers and influence.
3. The recovery thus far has occurred in spite of Barack Obama, not because of him and it might just keep going--(especially if he figures out it's good for his image).

WHAT WILL I DO DIFFERENTLY?
My best thought is that, "When the rules of the game change, you change the way you play to take advantage of the new rules…" THE ENTERPRISE will become part of a group of blogs and web sites, that cover many aspects of business, life and current events. My original blog title (no longer active) and the title of my talk radio show was: "The Life of Business and the Business of Life." Maybe that's a good way to look at things again! Working together, we will need to figure out how adjust, evolve and adapt to "win while playing the game under different (worse) rules…" What that means, I am not sure of…but that's what we do, "make lemons into lemonade—that we can sell for a profit!"

My direction as of now is to start this new era by finishing and launching my latest book (now in the publishing process, due out in Dec.)…ROADMAP TO PROFITABLE GROWTH, which should be even more useful & important to beleaguered business people in all sizes of companies, under an Obama 2nd term: "tax, regulate, borrow and spend" reign.
