Is the expected economic growth from policy changes and tax cuts generating the revenue expected? The spending is sure going strong.
Nobody wants to touch entitlements what will surely sink the US into insolvency, because it seems few people retain their fiscal sanity once elected to office.

When you have unexpected expenses at home or at work, you cut back somewhere else to cover them, but not in government. TRUMP IS ALL OVER THE PLACE. THERE’S NO DEFENDING HIM ON THAT. HOWEVER, THE RESULTS OF HIS PRESIDENCY THUS FAR ARE MUCH BETTER THAN HIS PERSONA WOULD LEAD ONE TO BELIEVE. HE’S EITHER "DUMB LIKE A FOX” AND SEEING THE STAGE FOR HIS COMING MOVES, OR SOMEONE WILL NOTICE THAT DEFICITS ARE CLIMBING—HIS DEREGULATION AND PRO-BUSINESS POLICY MOVES MUST SPIKE THE REVENUE COMING IN TO OFFSET THE SPENDING.
Before being too critical, remember that Obama blew the lid off spending right after he came into office, ostensibly to deal with the recession. Then he led the country into 8 years of slow or no growth, and theweakest post recession recovery in modern history.
Now the crazies and hypocrites are in charge of the Democratic party and the Republican party—all 2-3 of them—can’t agree on what to do. REALLY? Has anyone ever heard of COMPROMISING FOR THE GREATER GOOD?
